E3 2013 Predictions
Gaikai, PlayStation Cloud, will be announced to be partially available with new First Party and Third Party titles around the launch of the PlayStation 4. This will make new titles, on the PS3, be playable on the PS4 when you purchase them digitally. The first run of these titles will include a code to try the service out.
The Vita will be relaunched, with an updated design, and receive a price drop.
Sony will not put any type of DRM restrictions on their software for the PlayStation 4. The audience will cheer at the announcement.
The next major Final Fantasy title will be announced as an exclusive for the PlayStation 4 franchise.
Kiefer Sutherland will be on stage, at the Sony Press Conference, to show off the next iteration of Metal Gear Solid.
Sony will price their PlayStation 4 at $349 with 3 months of PS Plus and a controller. Their controller will run $69.99 a piece.
The Last Guardian will launch alongside the PlayStation 4 as a launch title. People may die when they finally hear this announced.
People will boo and hiss when Microsoft starts speaking about their DRM restrictions for Xbox One.
Respawn Entertainment will begin the Microsoft Press Conference and the game will be timed exclusive on the Xbox One platform.
Rock Band will return as a Kinect exclusive title.
Microsoft will price the Xbox One at $399.99 with a subsidized model available for $199.99. Their controllers will be priced at $74.99 each.
The next Halo game will be shown off for the first time.
A new Banjo and Fable Title will be coming to the Xbox One.
Nintendo will announce a price drop on Wii U and start reducing software by $5.00 during the first week of new releases.
A new Zelda and Mario game will be shown. One of the two will launch on the Wii U later this year.
Nintendo will give all current WIi U owners and new owners digital content until mid summer.
The 3DS will have no new titles shown from Nintendo.
Nintendo will unveil a new 2D Metroid title.
Mario Kart for the Wii U will have a feature that will make all fans “giddy”
Mobile platforms like the iPad, Nexus 7, iPhone, etc will be taken seriously as real gaming platforms. E3 will have a lot of interesting titles coming soon for the platforms.
