Project Cafe to Feature Touchscreen Controller?
Nikkei has confirmed that the new Nintendo console, codenamed Project Cafe, will feature a six inch touch screen in the middle of the controller. The inclusion of this will give Developers new tools and create innovative experiences not available on any other platform. Players will also be able to utilize this controller to play games off of the TV and will be powered by a battery.
How true are these rumors? For me, personally, I see cost as a factor in making this a viable solution. What makes more sense would be an adapter, for the 3DS, that would turn it into a controller to be used by the new Nintendo console. This would drive sales of both platforms.
If this is not possible, I see the new controller being packed in with the system and running 99.99.
