If anything is clear, GTAV is going to be an intense, mature, and crazy action game that could be among the best of the year.
We reported on the return of Earthbound last week with the re-release of the SNES classic on the Wii U Virtual Console. Fans who are hoping to see another title in the series, known as Mother in Japan, will be disappointed. According to creator Shigesato Itoi, he calls the creation of Mother 4 to be “Impossible” via his Twitter account.
Will Nintendo look to continue this series on their own or will this be another franchise left behind for past generations to remember fondly?
The Ouya, despite some early software concerns, is still attempting to get Developers on board. The latest title comes from Kim Swift and her team at Airtight Games. Swift is best known for Porta and Quantum Conundrum.
The new title is exclusive to Ouya and is called Soul Fjord. In Soul Fjord you control a swinging 70’s character in an action RPG. Your character will swing an axe, fight “smooth trolls” and “disco wizards.”
Sounds Groovy and it is coming soon for Ouya. Ouya officially launches in June 2013.
Ubisoft, today, has released the eagerly anticipated mod to Far Cry 3–Blood Dragon–on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms for $14.99.
Dean Evans, Creative Director, had this to say:
“Out of the ashes of Far Cry 3, a few chosen devs came together to define a retro vision of the future. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is an all-out, balls-to-the-wall cyber shooter that doesn’t take itself too seriously. In a genre saturated with super-serious narrative and realistic settings we felt it was time to inject some good old-fashioned robofun into the mix.”
