As Maxwell progresses through a level, he will encounter various DC Heroes that have a Heroic Feat for you to accomplish. Using the power of Scribblenauts, these Heroic Feats will all be randomized. You may encounter Batman, in one such example, as being paralyzed and needing an antidote. If you come across this, the next time it will be something different. In the example, once Maxwell gets Batman the antidote, Batman will finish off taking care of the main villain that caused the mess to begin with.
Players will earn Reputation by completing Heroic Feats. These points allow Maxwell to unlock new levels costumes, and other content for the game. You will also find 33 different versions of Batman and 133 different versions of Green Lantern along with others like Superman, Joker, Darkseid, Wonder Woman, Sinestro, Flash, Abin Sur, James Gordon, Cat Woman, and more! If you are a DC fan, you will get very excited about the interaction with your favorite characters.
Maxwell can also use adjectives on the superheroes. For example, you can call in a Zombie Green Lantern and he will start attacking other people on screen. In addition, the Zombie virus will begin to spread. But probably the most fun is making your own superhero. Players can mix and match up their favorite body parts to create the ultimate hero… although it may be a very strange looking hero. SuperBat Lantern of Catjokes.
For fans of Scribblenauts, this definitely breathes some new life into the franchise. Also, for the fan of DC Comics and Superheroes, this will give them a new way to interact and play with their friends. We look forward to seeing more of Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure in the near future.
