EA E3 2013 Press Briefing
First up is plants vs Zombies 2 Garden Warfare. and PopCap comes on the stage as a Zombie to Xbox One and then Xbox 360. This is a Third Person Action title. You control one of the plants and plant seeds to make a garden. The Zombies come and you have to kill them before they kill you. It isn’t bloody, it isn’t overly violent, but it looks like a lot of fun.
Peggle 2 is coming out this year too!!
Coming Spring 2014 to PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 is Titanfall. This is the first title from Respawn Entertainment.
EA DICE is bringing Star Wars Battlefront at some unknown time in the future.
Marcus Nilsson, Executive Producer is on stage to talk about Need for Speed Rivals. This game is built for online. Though it can be played offline, this is not the preferred way to play.
Aaryn Flynn, General Manager, of Bioware is on stage to talk about Dragon Age Inquisition. It will be your job to help restore order to your world and the game is not coming until Fall of 2014.
Andrew Wilson is up on stage next and he is the Head of EA Sports to talk about EA Sports and the Ignite Engine.
Patrick Bach, Executive Producer and Karl Magnus Troedson are on stage to talk about Battlefield 4. Unlike at the Microsoft Press Briefing, this one appears to have sound. Battlefield 4 will feature command mode that will let you use a tablet or the controller on the couch to enjoy a top down perspective. There are 64 players playing live on stage right now.
Mirrors Edge 2 is finally coming… When it is ready.
Peter Moore is back on stage to close out the Press Briefing.
