N3: Nightly News Narration – PS4 Sales, Disney Infinity 2.0, & More!

Blizzard revealed at PAX East that Hearthstone is now available on the iPad. Despite the growing number of Android users, there is no version currently available for Google’s platform. This is mainly due to the challenges in developing for a multitude of different devices–with a different number of OS versions on each of these devices.
Heartstone, for those of you not familiar, is a collectible card game that is addictive to play. Think of it as a more simplistic Magic the Gathering but with plenty of depth and strategy. As a free to play game, Hearthstone players will compete against both PC/Mac and iPad users and all of your cards and progress syncs with both the iPad and PC/Mac platforms.
Square Enix revealed that after the PlayStation 4 launch of Final Fantasy 14: A Real Reborn, they have over 2 million registered accounts. Sadly, these figures don’t include specifics for the PS4, PS3, and PC breakdown. We also don’t know how many players are subscribing once registering. However, in order to register an account, you do have to buy a boxed or digital copy of the game. It is, however, good to see a MMO outside of Blizzard doing well that isn’t Free to Play.
The PlayStation Blog revealed that The Walking Dead Season Two is coming to PS Vita on Tuesday, April 22nd. The first two episodes will be available on that day for $4.99 each or you can save 20% by purchasing the season pass.
Though I enjoy the Walking Dead Season Two quite a lot, I am finding The Wolf Among Us to be a better game. I do recommend playing through them both though the Wolf Among Us isn’t on the Vita yet.
In exciting news, Disney Infinity 2.0 is coming out August 2014 and will feature familiar Marvel characters. The new leaked in a D23 Blog Post that has been taken down.
