Nintendo is live with their Nintendo E3 Direct. The show starts off with Iwata, Reggie, and Miyamoto puppets taking the stage and transforming into Star Fox puppets.

Afterwards there is Star Fox Zero for the Wii U on screen with Spaceship combat and your Arwing can transform into different types of vehicles. Miyamoto talks about what inspires him. You will be able to use the Gyro on the Gamepad to move it around and look around at other things. The Gamepad will be used to aim and help immerse you in the game. They also have simplified the controls by having a button to transform, one to make rolls, and a single button to fire all your weapons.

Star Fox Zero is not a remake and it isn’t a part 4 or 5. It is the Zero entry in the series.

Skylanders is going to do special Bowser and Donkey Kong amiibo that has a base that twists to become an amiibo. These will only be playable on the Nintendo platform.

A new Zelda title is being shown for the 3DS that concentrates on controlling multiple links in dungeons. You can outfit your link to make him unique and give him special abilities. This includes boss fights. Zelda Triforce Heroes coming Fall of 2015. You can play this game single player but it is meant for 3 players.

They are also developing a reimagining of Hyrule Warriors for the 3DS. It will include all the characters and DLC characters plus some new ones. This will be called Hyrule Warriors Legends and come out the first quarter of 2016.

Meteoroid Prime Federation Force is announced for the 3DS and it is a title coming in 2016. This is not the Metroid game we were looking for. It looks like a fast and frantic multiplayer game.

Fire Emblem Fates is up next. This appears to be the new official title for the game. It is coming 2016.

Another title, from Atlus and Nintendo, called FE, is coming in 2016. It featured a JPOP song and no real gameplay was shown in the trailer. Since it is Atlus, one must assume it is a RPG.

Xenoblade Chronicles is announced for a 12/4/15 release date.

Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer is announced for the 3DS and then an amiibo for Animal Crossing is shown with a board game/Mario Party like setup on screen for the Wii U. The winner is the happiest player in the world. This is Animal Crossing Happy Festival and it is coming Fall 2015.

Yoshi’s Wooly World is up next and they are showing off the adorable Yoshi Yarn amiibo. They want to make the game fun for players of all types. There will be challenges for even the hardcore player by collecting all of the items. If you use amiibo, you will transform Yoshi into that type of character. For example, Mario Yoshi looks like Mario but is a Yoshi. Yoshi’s Wooly World comes out October 16, 2015 and should bring a smile to your face.

Yoke Watch is shown next from Level 5 for the 3DS. It is an RPG where you use the stylus and tap on the screen a lot. Very strange looking game that is coming out Holiday 2015.

In the next game, for the 3DS, Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi collide in a single game where you have paper versions of each character and the normal version of each character. You can use the Paper versions to reach places you normally couldn’t go. This is Mario & Luigi Paper Jam coming Spring 2016 on the 3DS.

Mario Tennis is up next complete with power ups. Mario Tennis Ultra Smash coming Holiday 2015 for the Wii U.

Super Mario Maker is the next title and Minamoto is talking about the game and how they originally made Mario levels. They announce an 8 Bit Mario amiibo that will make Mario big in Super Mario Maker. If you use a compatible amiibo like Wii Fit Trainer, that nobody can get cause it sold out everywhere. September 2015 is the release date of Mario Maker for Wii U.
