Sonic Mania Review

Sonic Mania brings in the things that I loved about the classic Sonic franchise, but with all new levels and experiences. Released on the Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC on August 15, 2017, with a $20 price tag, it was an impulse buy, but one that I definitely do not regret. I personally have been playing on the Nintendo Switch and have loved every moment of it!

Splatoon 2 Review

Splatoon 2 is an action-packed game that reminds me of the combination of paintball and an arcade shooter. I should mention that I never had the chance to play the first Splatoon. So this review is not in comparison to the original, but more so as someone new to the franchise. Since the Wii U had such poor sales, I am sure that there are several people in this same position.

Skylanders Superchargers

Activision was the first company to introduce the Toys to Life genre to the world with Skylanders and each year they find a way to reinvent the formula and release a new entry in the popular game. This year, that innovation is vehicles: Land, Air, and Sea.

Mario Party 10

Mario Party is back with its tenth installment and on the Wii U platform for the first time.  This time around, Mario and his friends are in full HD for the first time in the series. Also included is Amiibo support both from compatible Super Smash Bros series of Amiibo and the new Super Mario Bros series Amiibo.

Mario Kart 8 Review

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, and the whole gang are back and this time they are strapped into their favorite karts and racing down streets, upside down, underwater, and even upside down to become the ultimate champion in Mario Kart 8.

The Wolf Among Us Episode 4 Review

After nearly dying in the last episode, Bigby is in pretty rough shape as Episode 4, In Sheep’s Clothing, begins. His arm is set by a doctor and silver bullets are dug out of him as Snow frantically watches on. Having your arm set–with the bone sticking out–is not something that I found easy to watch.

The Walking Dead S2 Ep 3 Review

The Walking Dead Season 2 continues and our characters find themselves at the mercy of a madman who has them imprisoned and forced to work to “earn their keep.” Like so many times before this season, Clementine finds herself in the middle of all of the action as the group relies on her to help them.

The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 Review

Episode 3 of The Wolf Among Us begins right where Episode 2 left off. I don’t want to spoil anything but Bigby is not very happy and is rushing to try and get the killer, from the first two games, before they gets away. As this is a story in the middle of the planned storyline, it wouldn’t make much sense if things went well.

Diablo III Reaper of Souls Review

Blizzard has released the long-anticipated follow-up to Diablo III with the expansion Reaper of Souls. This provides players with a brand new Act, number 5, that picks up the story where the game last left off. Players will be able to continue through Act 5 with their level 60 characters and journey against the Angel of Death Malthael.
