N3: Nightly News Narration 9.17.17: Switch, Obsidian, & More

Hello and Welcome to N3: Nightly News Narration. My name is Kaleb Rutherford and today is September 17, 2017. N3: Nightly News Narration is our commentary on the News we find Unique and Interesting–focusing on the world of Video Games.

Today we discuss Nintendo Switch Sales, a hidden NES Golf, The recent Nintendo Direct, Battleborn, More on Obsidian’s Secret Project, and Xbox One Downloading Portion of Games.

Sonic Mania Review

Sonic Mania brings in the things that I loved about the classic Sonic franchise, but with all new levels and experiences. Released on the Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC on August 15, 2017, with a $20 price tag, it was an impulse buy, but one that I definitely do not regret. I personally have been playing on the Nintendo Switch and have loved every moment of it!

Splatoon 2 Review

Splatoon 2 is an action-packed game that reminds me of the combination of paintball and an arcade shooter. I should mention that I never had the chance to play the first Splatoon. So this review is not in comparison to the original, but more so as someone new to the franchise. Since the Wii U had such poor sales, I am sure that there are several people in this same position.

HideIt Mounts E3 2017 Interview

I had the opportunity to meet with Relina Shirley, CEO of HideIt Mounts, about their lineup of products. From my hands-on time, the company really seems to listen to their customers, delivers a great product, and fills a need that almost every person has in their home.

E3 2017 Predictions

E3 2017 is quickly coming up on June 11 – 15 and we are expecting to see a ton of great content for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Of course, it wouldn’t be E3 if we didn’t bring along our lists of things we anticipate seeing and things we hope to see.

For this list, I am using over twenty years of experience covering the industry. This list may include titles that are rumored but have not yet been announced. I also am not breaking any NDA’s or leaking any insider information that is supposed to be kept under wraps.  I will be breaking down my list between platforms: Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Bethesda, EA, and Ubisoft.
